Mom Honors her Son who Died in Iraq, Then a Cop Tells her to Look Straight Ahead

Candida was in a bad car accident, totaling her 2009 Nissan Cube.

It was actually her sons car. And her son had already died while serving in Iraq. The mom had been devoted to keeping the car up while continuing to drive it. The loss of the car was no doubt very painful and emotional as it was a piece of her son which likely gave her some solace.
Her son, Army Spc. Jose Torre was only 21 when he was killed in Iraq in 2011. The vehicle was bought with his Army money.
As Officer John Braggs responded to the accident, he had noticed a Gold star license plate on the Cube. This signified that the car’s owner had lost a family member while they served in the military. Braggs father had died in the Vietnam war. After hearing Candida’s story, the officer was moved. While the car was declared a total loss, it didn’t deter Officer Braggs from doing something spectacular. He took possession of the totaled car and secretly had some auto experts do something quite amazing. Check out what happened in this wonderful video!
